PLC-OSW	The PLC Optical Switch (PLC-OSW) is based on the Mach-Zehnder Interferometer (MZI) interference principle, utilizing the thermo-optic effect to achieve channel selection and switching between input and output light. It is widely applied in optical network fields such as Optical Add-Drop Multiplexer (OADM), Optical Cross-Connect (OXC), and Optical Power Meter (OPM). The PLC-OSW is characterized by its small form factor, low cost, low power consumption, fast response speed, high integration, and high reliability.
MEMS-OSW	The MEMS Optical Switch (MEMS-OSW) is based on Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) technology, utilizing the rotation of MEMS chip’s reflective mirrors to achieve channel selection and switching between input and output light. It finds widespread applications in optical network systems such as Optical Add-Drop Multiplexer (OADM), Optical Cross-Connect (OXC), Optical Power Meter (OPM), as well as measurement instrument systems. It is characterized by its small form factor, low cost, low insertion loss, and high repeatability.
